I was planning on posting this yesterday; however, it was my birthday and I ended up being away from my PC (no regrets either).
Short term projects are the key to achieving long-term goals. So, I hope you will try my 10 in 10 exercise. The idea is to accomplish 10 specific projects over a 10 week period that are part of larger goals. If you start today, your end date would be Saturday, March 31.
First, review all your goals for 2007 and consider what projects you could fully complete within ten weeks that would move you forward. For example, if you plan to lose weight this year, perhaps a 10 in 10 project would be to lose ten pounds over ten weeks as the initial phase (when weight loss is the easiest). If increasing your net worth is one of your goals, you could target a certain amount of money to save\invest over a ten week period.
Write out 10 short projects that help fulfill your major 2007 goals and focus on those for the next 10 weeks. Good Luck.
